I learned a lot from the business writing assignment.  I’ve learned that the first draft is never the best draft in any writing form. Some crucial mistakes I made in my resume were, for the most part, simple issues to fix. Such as, not putting my GPA on the first copy, as well as spacing issues. With my cover letter, I had easy to fix formatting mistakes like forgetting to put my return Address, signature, along with a couple of other similar formatting issues. I also improved the overall length of the document and added a call to action statement at the end of the cover letter.

Overall this was a great learning experience for myself. I will revert to the lessons I’ve learned doing this assignment in future endeavors.
